Mine didnt hurt being done but for 12 hours afterwards I was in immense pain. Like I had powered glass or gravel in my eyes. I couldnt open them as it was so painful and couldnt see anyway. The next day they were swollen but not painful. I nearly went to hospital because the pain was so intense.

Hello ladies, I just came back on here to leave this message to all of you that have to have the colposcopy with biopsy and have anxiety regarding the pain like myself. Please speak up and weigh all of your options. It is not okay for these doctors to disregard the pain that most (not all) women tell them they feel. I actually contacted a few ab*rt!on clinics to see if they did colposcopy’s because it’s a better chance that they are willing to give anesthesia or a sedative. I found a place and they have scheduled me for the colposcopy biopsy with sedation. She explained everything to me and when I say I am relieved I am relieved. Obviously I did not want to have this performed at this kind of facility due to being judged and also the possibility of protesters but I had been freaking out doing my research and reading tons of women’s reviews about the pain and trauma. I live in South Florida btw. They also take my insurance Avmed. I didn’t want to name the place on this post because I don’t know if they’ll flag it but if you have questions reach out to me. The facility is well known PP are the acronyms lol stay safe ladies and we got this🥹❤
